Primary Duties & Responsibilities
This position is responsible for sales of Custom Molding/Contract Manufacturing. Will continue to manage the account to maximize the relationship and profitability of the account. Will work with the operations team to understand and promote the injection molding capabilities of our company.
- Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities
- Identify product opportunities through an in-depth understanding of marketplace customers, Wisconic production capabilities, competitive landscape and profitability analytics
- Responsible for attaining sales revenue and profit objectives assigned by Management Team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with sourcing influencers at existing and prospective customers
- Assess and understand customer requirements and present the appropriate services to secure new business
- Define & Develop with Marketing OEM/Custom products sales collateral material
- Quarterly product profitability and margin analysis with Management and the Operations Team
- Utilize ISO New Product Development and Quoting procedure
- Evaluation and participation in select trade shows and webinars
- On-going product quality control reviews
- Work with Sales and the Operations Team to create a key Customer base
- Be the primary contact person on all OEM Custom opportunities in addition to delivering all customer presentations
- Gain strong knowledge and expertise of Wisconic’s press and mold capabilities
- Willing and available to travel as needed to develop and maintain customers
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and history of closing accounts
- Strong networking capability
- Knowledge of profitability analytics and margin revenues
- Self-motivated
Education & Experience
- 3 years of sales experience preferred
- Successful experience in the following functions within the custom molding industry will also be considered: project management, custom molding engineering, tooling engineering, customer service
