Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot machine, material, and process problems
- Take a proactive role in optimizing processes and procedures related to the position
- Document processes and changes to processes including downtime on process change sheets and master set up sheets
- Accountable for the maintenance of the molds and organization of the setup area
Minimum Requirements
- Must occasionally be able to lift a maximum of 75 pounds
- Must be able to climb heights as required
- Must be able to work around fumes, heat, and large machines
- Must know mold parts and their functions and be able to change all cores, cavities, inserts, and pins that each job requires
- Must have good knowledge of injection molding machine functions related to the setup and start-up of each job
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions accurately and in a timely manner
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience processing injection molding equipment
